It was a Truly Beautiful Day! πŸ’ƒ

It was a truly beautiful day!  I didn’t go alone; I planned this trip with my friends from the 23/24 batch who came from all parts of the country. We went to the university to watch "Silambu," a traditional dance festival organized as an assignment by the current first-year students. ✨

We started our journey from our homes early in the morning and gathered near Viharamahadevi Park by 10 AM. It was wonderful to meet everyone and talk to each other. After a delicious lunch, we all sat together on the ground, sang songs, and had a great time until 5 PM, before entering the university.

As aspiring undergraduates, we maintained a sense of discipline and peace while watching the festival. The sound of drums and the jingling of "Silambu" from the dancers made my desire to join this university even stronger! πŸ”₯

I want to say this with pride our university is very special compared to others. The practical side is very high here. The University of the Visual and Performing Arts is the only place that gives so many talented actors, dancers, and musicians to the world.

Even though I was tired from the long travel, I didn't feel it at all because of the excitement and the beauty of the event. Seeing our seniors performing with so much energy their flips and spins gave us a huge boost. The cheers and whistles from the crowd surely motivated the performers as much as they motivated us!

The festival ended around 9:30 PM. After having a happy dinner together, we all headed back home. I must say it again it was a truly beautiful day! ❤️πŸŒ™
